To Park my Car

The house is very downtown and so it's in

ZTL Zona a Traffico Limitato (Trafic Restricted Area).

For this reason is not possible to go close to the house

from 7.30am to 8pm in working days;

from 11pm of Thursday to 3am of Friday,

from 11pm of Friday to 3am of Saturday,

from 7:30am of Saturday to 3am of Sunday.

Please verify that light at area control gates is

green before to enter since timetables can change.

Remember that street park inside ZTL is almost

impossible and not allowed.

Public and private parkings inside ZTL are very expensive.

Public street parking just outside ZTL in blue lines costs

from 2 to 3€/hour from 8am to 8pm on work days.

Street parking in white lines is resident reserved.

Free parking are nowhere available in town

If you don't frequently need the car during your stay in Florence,

we propose you the following three possibilities:

1) Park in the A1 Motorway and reach the house skipping trafic jam

Villa Costanza Access from A1 Motorway

Coming from Bologna or Rome on the A1 Motorway,

you can leave the car on Villa Costanza Park.

This park is reacheable by A1 motorway only

and costs 7€/day.
Generally not crowded, reservation not possible.

From there you can get Tramway

Buy tickets for tramway and busses
at automatic Point Of Sale at Tram stops.
Ticket cost 1.5€ and is valid for 90 minutes
in all trams and busses.
Obliterate it at first use.

and drop off at Alamanni-Stazione stop (30 minutes travel time)

than walk 1 minute to get the C4 Bus

at 'STAZIONE SCALETTE' Stop

Warning:

C4 Bus run from about 7am to 8pm on workdays

and from 8am to 8pm on holidays

If you arrive when C4 is not available, you can get a taxi from SMN Train Station or walk to the house for 1,3km (0.8mile)

At the end of the travel, in about 30minutes,

you'll be back at Villa Costanza Parking.

If you're coming via A1 motorway,

Exit the A1 motorway at Firenze Impruneta exit,

than follow Firenze Centro direction,

and set Gelsomino car park coordinates on GPS navigator.

If youre not coming via motorway set Gelsomino GPS coordinates in your GPS navigator.

Go in Gelsomino SCAF park.

This car park costs 1€/hour with maximum of 15€/day.

Generally not crowded, reservation not possible.

From the car park get on BUS 11 in downtown direction

GARAGE LUNGARNO Car Park is only 160m from the house.
It's inside the Trafic Restricted Area (ZTL Zona Traffico Limitata)
This car park costs from 29€ to 39€/day depending from car size
and 20€/4hour. More you've to pay 1€ tax any time you enter inside ZTL.
Generally crowded, reservation required.
